We work with the Spanish Red Cross in several projects. One of these is the Ludi-Educa project, educating in values at schools in Boiro and Puebla.
For several years now, Jealsa has been collaborating with Business Alliance for Child Vaccination in disadvantaged countries.
Through the AtresMedia Foundation, we collaborate in the three main hospitals of Galicia (Santiago, Vigo and A Coruña), the main objective of this initiative is to help children undergoing chemotherapy.

We were pioneers in recruiting people with different abilities at our production centres through an agreement with this association. We also work with this association to recruit people at risk of social exclusion. As well as promoting actions such as the creation of an early stimulation classroom, integration party or inclusive sports, amongst others.
We collaborate with the Galician Confederation of People with Disabilities to achieve full inclusion in society of people with disabilities.
In addition to making regular donations of canned fish, we collaborate in several campaigns, such as the milk collection campaign, «Ningún Niño Sin Bigote» («No Child Without a Mustache») promoted by Obra Social La Caixa.
We make regular donations of canned fish to Cáritas. We recently donated knitwear to Cáritas in Boiro, Puebla, Ribeira and Noia.

In 2018 in Spain, over 138,000 cats and dogs were abandoned.
In this sense, animal shelter centres become a fundamental tool to welcome these animals and give them a second chance.
Pet Select, within the framework of the We Sea programme, collaborates with several animal shelter centres on a regular basis. Recently, over three thousand kg of pet food were distributed benefiting about 4,000 animals.

We offer children sport and leisure activities to strengthen positive values and healthy habits, contributing to the development of a more responsible society.
We collaborate with social and sports organizations promoting Sports Schools, Club Remo Cabo Da Cruz (rowing club) or Boiro Voleibol, that educate in values and help in improving school performance whilst offering quality leisure activities.
We also collaborate in the celebration of sporting events that help promote minority sports and tourism in our area.

The Ecomar Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Theresa Zabell, the only woman winner of two Olympic Games, and together we have launched a plan to preserve our beaches called «Caring for the Sea».
This programme covers three main objectives:
- 01. CONSERVATION OF THE COAST AND THE MARINE ECOSYSTEM.
- 02. EDUCATE IN ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION VALUES.
- 03. RAISE AWARENESS LEADING BY EXAMPLE.
COMPLIANCE SYSTEM
JEALSA has a regulatory compliance system, adapted to the requirements of article 31 bis of the Criminal Code and the UNE 19601 quality standard on criminal compliance management systems in Spain.
- We have a complete and dynamic legal risk map for the entire group.
- There is an ethical channel (whistleblowing), through which any employee can report any breaches of general legality or internal regulations.
- There is a specific computer program to carry out special legal control over certain matters of special risk: environment, labour risks and industrial safety.

- Recurrent Compliance controls are in place on the different entities that form JEALSA.
