WE SEA AND JEALSA DISTINGUISHED IN THE FIRST 100% VIRTUAL CSR EVENT IN SPAIN.

We Sea, Jealsa’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme, has taken part in the first week of Global CSR, the country’s first 100% virtual CSR event which was held between 24th and 27th March and which has brought together professionals from large companies, SMEs, third sector entities and public administrations to discuss the main challenges and trends of the sector.

We Sea was part of the round table on Actions against the Climate Emergency, where the fight against climate change and the current climate emergency situation in Spain were discussed. Ángeles Claro, director of We Sea, explained together with other leading companies in other sectors, the different initiatives and projects adopted by Jealsa through the We Sea programme and its five lines of action.

Also, during the celebration of the conference, Jealsa received the CSR Best Practices Award for “its commitment to sustainability and the environment, being responsible with the environment, marine resources and people as main idea” thanks to the pioneering system of circular economy through which the company has managed to use up the 100% of the raw material delivered.
